Tasmin Little is regarded as one of the world’s leading violinists. Orchestras with whom she has performed include the New York Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, Cleveland, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Berlin Symphony, London Symphony, Philharmonia, London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, Stockholm Philharmonic and the conductors include Kurt Masur, Sir Simon Rattle, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Neeme Järvi, Leonard Slatkin, Daniele Gatti, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Mstislav Rostropovich, Tadaaki Otaka, Sir Charles Mackerras, Sir Yehudi Menuhin and Sir Andrew Davis.
Tasmin is also a devoted chamber musician and recent appearances include the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and Tokyo’s Toppan Hall. A respected interpreter of Delius, she made a television documentary about the composer for BBC2’s ‘The Works’ and her recording of Delius’ Violin Sonatas with Piers Lane for BMG won the prestigious Diapason d’Or Award, the Record of the Month in Répertoires and was nominated for a Gramophone Award. Her twenty recordings include concerti by Bruch, Brahms, Sibelius, Dvorák, Lalo and Walton together with many new works and neglected masterpieces. In 2007, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Edward Elgar, she will be performing his violin concerto on a major tour to South East Asia andbAustralia.

The outstanding Australian pianist Piers Lane has a flourishing international career which has taken him to more than forty countries. Recent and forthcoming highlights include performances with the London Philharmonic & Hallé Orchestras and recitals in Adelaide, Brisbane, Como, Hobart, Munich, Maastricht, Paris, Sydney and the Valldemossa Chopin Festival.
Following the success of his New York début he returned to the Lincoln Center for a recital and a concert with the American Symphony Orchestra and recent appearances include recitals in Amsterdam, Bremen, Brisbane, Melbourne, Singapore and Wellington. Earlier in 2006 he returned to the Wigmore Hall with an important three concert series entitled Metamorphoses.
A soloist at the BBC Promenade Concerts on five occasions, his concerto repertoire exceeds 70 works and he has appeared with many of the world’s major orchestras. His extensive discography includes, on the Hyperion label, much admired recordings of Grainger, Bach transcriptions, and the complete Scriabin Preludes.
