| Description: | Billingshurst Choral Society and local soloists with Musical Director George James and accompanied by Julia Kennard and Terence Allbright – [4 hands at one piano!], Bill Hill on Bass Guitar and Barry Cook on Drums – are performing an entertaining evening of fun, foot-tapping, popular music, melodies and songs from Broadway Musicals, Films / Movies and Shows from the 1920’s to date. The programme includes a variety of songs by Rogers & Hart, George & Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern & Otto Harbach and Cole Porter and medleys from:- “West Side Story”; “South Pacific”; “Rodgers & Hammerstein on Broadway”; “A Gershwin Portrait” and “The Lion King”. |
