| Description: | Our ‘Last Night of the Proms’ features Boundstone Chorus, Worthing Choral Society and Worthing Philharmonic Choir and Guest soprano Zoe Peate singing choral excerpts from Orff's Carmina Burana, Kevin Withell's Requiemand Handel'l Messiah, as well as Strauss's Overture to Die Fledermaus and The Blue Danube, Percy Grainger's Londonderry Air, Shepherd’s Hey and Mock Morris as well as all the traditional ‘Last Night’ favourites...if you’ve never experienced a WPO Last Night of the Proms you don’t know what you’ve been missing! Featuring all the usual opportunities for flag waving and singing we’ll also offer a few tasters of the season to come and some popular classics as well. It promises to be a great night out! |
