To round off the year, our leader, Rita French, will play the Bruch Violin Concerto. We also have Brahms’ Fourth Symphony, is considered by many to be his best, and completing the programme is the overture to Nicolai’s Merry Wives of Windsor, one of the world’s favourite concert openers.
