Description: Chelys Sonora is a flute and lute/theorbo duo which focuses on a rich repertoire of late 18th Century music. The ensemble has received much praise to date, and have recently been offered prestigious performances in Utrecht (The Netherlands) and Brugge (Belgium) taking place over the summer. Clare Beesley (historical flute) Earl Christy (theorbo & lute) will be playing:
