Lyric-Coloratura Soprano, Tracy Fehr has held numerous performances in
Canada, North Africa, Central America and the UK. She performs with orchestras
and chamber ensembles, and is increasingly in demand as a concert recitalist,
known for her vocal agility, clarity of tone and sensitive interpretations.
Tracy specializes in Baroque and Early Music, frequently performing works
by Handel, Mozart, Vivaldi, Dowland, and Bach. Tracy’s wide-ranging concert
repertoire includes Opera, Art Songs, Lieder, and 20th Century, as well as
Broadway favourites and arrangements of African-American Spirituals. Tracy
creates well-crafted concerts choosing repertoire specifically geared to each
audience, featuring Fauré, Bellini, Brahms, Schubert, Verdi, Puccini, de Falla,
Valls, Villa Lobos, and Gershwin, and female composers such as Beatrice de Dia,
Isabella Leonarda, Barbara Strozzi, Hildegard von Bingen, and Canadian
composer, Jean Coulthard.
