| Description: | The Brighton Singers chamber choir under the direction of John Hancorn perform two beautiful choral masterpieces of the 16th and 17th centuries. Luis Tomás Victoria's Tenebrae Responsories are written for 4-part a capella choir. Domenico Scarlatti's wonderful setting of the Stabat Mater is scored for 10 voices, accompanied by chamber organ. Sunday evening is the perfect time for such magnificent music! Wine and cake available in the interval. |
