Born in Manchester, Mezzo Soprano Charlotte Wicks studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy Opera course graduating in 2009. She is an Independent Opera Fellow and graduate of the Solti, Te kanawa Academia di Bel Canto. As a soloist, Charlotte has performed alongside conductors Trevor Pinnock, Sir Colin Davis, Sian Edwards and Vladimir Jurowski with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. A Samling scholar she has sung as a soloist at the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, St Martin in the Fields, St John’s Smith Square, The Royal Albert Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and The London Handel Festival, Charlotte was the Mezzo Soprano soloist at the 2013 Paxos international festival and is a regular soloist with London Festival Opera touring the UK and Central Europe. She teaches singing at St. Andrews Prep in Eastbourne and is co founder of Intergenerational Opera.


Heather Morton graduated from the Royal College of Music and subsequently taught piano and woodwind in various schools abroad. She has accompanied choirs and soloists throughout her career before retiring to Seaford in 2019 .


Charlotte and Heather both live in Seaford and having recently been introduced by a mutual friend started working together. They are delighted to be presenting this programme, most of which were completely new pieces to Heather, they have thoroughly enjoyed collaborating and hope to continuing performing together in the future.









Tickets: Admission free with a retiring collection. The concert lasts approximately an hour.
