In 1996 the Society commenced a policy of giving a concert for a charity prior to its summer recess and from 1996 to 2001 over £35,000 has been raised for local and National Charities. On 18th May 2002 the benifititing Charity will be the NSPCC and the society will be joined in Arundel Cathedral by the West Sussex Youth Orchestra who celebrate in 2002 the 40th Anniversary of its foundation. The programme will consist of well known works with individual contributions from the orchestra and choir together with combined performances of popular operatic choruses and familiar items. The MC will be Mr. Simon Brett. |
