Enjoy this feast of music, at this local venue, for a spectacular musical evening full of Christmas cheer. An outstanding programme of Christmas music and Carols has been planned, bringing you this special chance to experience 120 singers from one of the most recognised large choirs in the Southeast of England, ‘The Sussex Chorus’ (formally ‘The Ditchling Choral Society’) Internationally known musical director ‘Neil Jenkins’ will take centre stage conducting the choir and ‘The Sussex Classical Players’ will present orchestral favorites including ‘Barber’s Adagio’ for strings and ‘Corelli’ Christmas Concerto providing a powerful crisp performance. Top soprano ‘Elin Manahan Thomas’ will be enthralling the audience with her exceptional scintillating voice, singing both solo and accompanied by ‘The Sussex Chorus’. To add to this special evening, trumpet player ‘Crispian Steele-Perkins’ will perform pieces of varied Christmas trumpet music by the world famous virtuoso. ‘Burgess Hill School for Girls Choir’ will rouse the audience with their renditions of favorite Christmas carols. All this to the star lit backdrop setting, inside the well loved venue for what has become an annual Christmas evening full of wonderful music, and the chance to sing your heart out with carols for all and other festive treats!
