Description: | In 1998 Katherine won a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music with Colin Carr and David Strange and gained a first class degree, ten Academy prizes, a distinction in Performance diploma and the acclaimed DipRAM. Since then she has performed as soloist throughout Europe, and in Africa and Asia. She gave her Wigmore Hall debut with pianist Alison Farr in 2004 and has since returned there three times. In the last few years Katherine has performed numerous concerti, including those by Dvorak, Saints-Saens and Elgar, She released her first CD, a disc of music by British composer, Thomas Hyde, under the ‘Toccata Classics’ label in April 2008. |
