Description: | ‘Tomorrow’s band, here today’ Two extraordinary Brighton based bands. The Last Carnival strikes out with forgotten Rock Show Music for the 21st Century. Ingredients for this Christmas show: Take the roots of 50s/60s rock and roll, add a little country and blues and mix with 80s/90s British guitar music. Add some modern day disillusionment for colour. Always make sure all songs have plenty of melody. Season well with lots of emotion. Serve hot! One of Brighton’s biggest up and coming bands will be celebrating at The Triangle on Sunday 12 December. Their guitar driven music is big on melody with rousing choruses sprinkled with heartfelt ballads. Prepare for dancing and thumping rhythms. Their undoubted potential has already been recognised by local media and already booked to play at high profile shows. This will be an extraordinary evening of pure energy, Support band 900 spaces are a four piece Indie band. Their music is probably best described as disco inspired Indie-Pop, and the band have been playing and producing independently released EP’s since 2008. Conceptualised in 2005 by front-girl Emma Lou, and guitarist Adam House, the band have spent long hard hours designing every crease and fold in the 900 Spaces dynamic. 2010 has seen the release of a new double A side 'Lady Go' on Itunes, Amazon, and a limited CD run Catch them live in and around Brighton and London in the new year, or on www.myspace.com/900spacesuk If you do one thing for your health and happiness this Christmas, then take notice of these up and coming bands on the brink of discovery. |
