| Description: | As well as winning several major prizes, Adelia has received numerous awards and scholarships, including one from the Countess of Munster Trust, who are supporting this concert. Adelia has performed violin concertos with several orchestras, and given solo performances in the Queen Elizabeth, Wigmore and Fairfield Halls. She is noted for her playing of solo violin pieces by Bach and Ysaye, and the former’s D minor Partita is included in the concert. |
