The Crawley Millennium Concert Band (CMCB) was formed in 1999 as part of Crawley's Millennium Celebrations. The Band gave its first concert to a packed house at the Hawth on the 15th January 2000. Since then the Band has gone from strength to strength gaining a fine reputation for it's varied repertoire and high standard of musicianship. CMCB proudly represents Crawley at many locations including seaside resorts, other towns and even at the famous Crawley 'Prom in the Park' where it has now performed in front of 10,000 people for the last three years. The Band has traveled overseas when it visited Crawley's Twin Town, Dorsten in June 2001 and in July 2002 the Band played at the famous international cultural festival in Gyula Hungary. |
