| Description: | The Boundstone Chorus will bring News of Great Joy to their Christmas Celebration on Saturday 21st December in St Michael and All Angels Church, South Street, Lancing at 7.30 pm. The Chorus, which is part of Aspire Sussex, will present their celebration of Christmas through music and readings which includes the spiritual Mary had a Baby, The Sussex Carol, and the Lancing premiere of a piece by composer Jonathan Dove Seek him that maketh the seven stars. The Chorus will be joined for this performance by soloist Sidonie Winter who has an extensive concert and oratorio repertoire. She has appeared as a soloist for the Royal Opera and Opera North; and has performed at major venues throughout the UK including the South Bank, Royal Albert Hall and St. John’s Smith Square. She has performed most of the major oratorios, and still occasionally performs in recital. She sings in the Extra Chorus for the Royal Opera, with Coro Cervantes, and with other professional ensembles. The Celebration will be followed by refreshments. |
