Maeve Jenkinson, Violin.
Maeve has many years experience as a professional musician, having been a member of the first violins of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and worked with world-class ensembles such as I Solisti Veneti and the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields. As a student Maeve held a Foundation Scholarship and was awarded top prize for violin at the Royal College of Music, where she studied with Jaroslav Vanacek. She subsequently was awarded scholarships from the Royal Society of Arts, and Countess of Munster Musical Trust to study in the USA with Josef Gingold, and a Fellowship to study at the Aspen Music Festival with Paul Kantor.
She has a busy schedule as senior violin teacher and ensemble coach at East Sussex Academy of Music, also teaching at Moira House School, and privately.  She is first violinist of the Ludlay String Quartet, plays duo recitals with pianist Rachel Fryer, performs regularly with the London Philharmonic, and is Musical Director of the Corelli Ensemble. Maeve lives in Seaford with her two children.

Rachel Fryer, Piano.
Rachel has been widely praised for her depth of musical understanding, sensitive interpretations and virtuosity. Active both as soloist and accompanist, she has performed throughout Britain at venues including Croydon's Fairfield Hall and St. John Smith's Square and for music societies including the Beethoven Piano Society. Beyond the UK's borders, Rachel has toured with Cunard and other liners including on the QE2’s Millennium Cruise, for which she helped coordinate the musical programme. Her recordings have been broadcast on Classic FM and on European radio and television. Rachel moved to Sussex in 2002 and is a Visiting Lecturer in Piano Studies and Accompanist at the East Sussex Academy of Music in Lewes. She is also Concert Director for Music and Wine at St. Luke’s, based in Queen’s Park, Brighton. Rachel's educational background is very diverse, having studied as far afield as Kharkov, Ukraine, The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and The Royal College of Music, where she was awarded a Masters Degree in Advanced Performance and many prizes.
