To round off Heritage Open Day, the Herschel Quartet are returning to St Mary's to play a late summer recital of Mozart and Mendelssohn, including Mozart's String Quartet no. 20 in D major KV499 and Mendelssohn's Four Pieces for String Quartet, Opus 81. Plus there are a couple of short surprises in there as well. The recital is free with a retiring collection to help fund our new piano at St Mary's. We're incredibly grateful to Nicola, Sophie, Conall and Siriol for giving of their talents freely and generously to help us in this way. Complimentary refreshments afterwards, as always with our free 6 o'clock Saturday recitals. Wheelchair accessible and music-loving doggies on a lead welcome. |
