On Saturday 23rd March at 7.30pm The Fletching Singers will be performing, in St Margaret’s Church Buxted TN22 4AY, an all-Mozart programme spanning his career from the age of 12 to his death at age 35. Featuring the emotionally stirring Mozart Requiem (his greatest choral work, made famous in the film Amadeus) the programme also includes Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Veni Sancte Spiritus, Laudate Dominum & Magnificat (from Solemn Vespers of the Confessor), Masonic Funeral Music and Ave Verum Corpus. Conducted by Michael Fields, with professional vocal soloists (Ansy Boothroyd, Lindsay Richardson, Mark Curtis, Sebastian Charlesworth) and chamber orchestra. |
