| Description: | Fernhurst Choral Society, conducted by Tim Ravalde will perform four celebratory pieces in a concert entitled “A Joyful Celebration” accompanied by talented young soloists, organ, brass and timpani. The concert will comprise Haydn’s Insanae et Vanae Curae, Bruckner’s Te Deum, Bach’s Ascension Oratorio and concludes with Parry’s I Was Glad, invoking memories of the Queen’s coronation 70 years ago. The concert is at 7.30pm on Saturday 11th June 2022 at St Mary’s Church, Petworth. This concert follows the successful recent performances of Handel’s Messiah and works by Haydn and Vivaldi at the Petersfield Musical Festival.
