| Description: | Young chamber music group Phoenix Rising present the life, times and music of French baroque composer Marc Antoine Charpentier, the 300th anniversary of whose death occurs in 2004. Phoenix Rising is a group of young musicians specializing in performing baroque and late renaissance music. They met during postgraduate study in Amsterdam Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten and have been performing together since 2001. |
